Best Accessories For The Fujifilm X-E2 | X-E2s
Fujifilm X-E2 | X-E2s Accessories List
If you're a Fuji owner like me, you've probably seen that there are tones of custom 3rd party accessories and gear you can get for your camera.
The Fujifilm X-E2 and X-E2s is no exception. Here is a list of some of the best accessories and gear you can add to your Fujifilm X-E2 and X-E2s.
X-E2 | X-E2s Screen Protectors, Memory Cards & Batteries
Fujifilm X-E2 | Fujifilm X-E2s Screen Protectors
A screen protector might be one of the single most important things you can buy for your Fuji X-E2. I use the Expert Shields on most of my cameras.

Best Memory Cards For the Fuji X-E2 and X-E2s
See the Best Memory Cards For The Fujifilm X-E2 and X-E2s Here.
I've tested all the most popular memory cards in a speed comparison in camera. You won't need UHS-II memory cards in this camera as they are not supported.
Fuji X-E2 / X-E2s Batteries
If you're wondering what batteries to get for you Fujifilm X-E2 here are a few. They use the same batteries as the X-T1 and the X-Pro1
I always by the brand name batteries since I've had problems with 3rd party batteries in the past.

Thumb Grips For the X-E1, X-E2 and X-E2s
All the parts on the X-E2 are interchangeable with the older X-E1. Lensmate makes the best thumb grips. No point of buying anything else.

Lensmate Thumb Grip Silver - (Amazon)
You can also order it from this link if the above are out of stock - Amazon
If you're not interested in a thumb rest, then you can get a terminal cover to make the top of your camera flush. They're pretty nice and not that expensive. Here is what I got for my Fuji X100T.

Soft Release Button
The next best thing you can get for your camera is a Soft Release button. I really like the one I have on my Fuji. It's also made by Lensmate.
There are a few things to keep in mind. There are the cheaper ones and then there are the Lensmate ones. I have both and here is my consensus. The cheaper ones will vibrate around and fall of when you're not paying attention. The Lensmate ones have this built in rubber washer. So when you screw the soft release button in, it forms a tighter seal keeping it from vibrating loose.

Grips & Cases
Some people use these others don't. I have the Black Leather Half Case by Gariz for my X100T and like it. For me the main benefit to this is to protect the bottom of your camera from being scratched by your tripod. I use my Sony A7r a lot on a tripod and the bottom is destroyed.
Here are your options.

Fuji X-Mount Macro Extension Tube
There are two Macro Extension tubes you can purchase by Fuji. The MCEX-11 and the MCEX-16. I own the MCEX-11 to use my 56mm f1.2 lens as a macro lens. This works great but there are some huge limitations. One is that your max focus will only be a few feet from the camera. When you have the macro extension tube mounted you really can only take photos of up close macro photography. This works different than a real macro lens that still has infinity focus.

There are two I recommend. The Gariz Strap and the Gordy's. I have to Gariz straps. They last forever and are made with real leather. But the Gordy's are American made and look a little cooler.
I use the Gordy's on my Fuji and the Gariz on my Sony. Note: The Gariz ships from Korea and it literally takes 2-3 weeks for it to get to the US. Gordy's will come in a few days.
Gariz Genuine Leather Camera Wrist Strap - (Amazon)
The Fuji strap that comes with your camera is good enough, but it's really nice to connect to something which will allow you to easily take it on and off of your camera with out a hassle. That's what this is for. I love mine. I ordered it during their original Kickstarter.
C-Loop Camera Strap Mount - (Amazon)
There is a new C-Loop Mini now as well - (Amazon)
I just bought a pack of these. The reason was, my old microfiber cloths got dirty over time and no longer were effective at cleaning my lenses. They would just smear everything around.
(6 Pack) MagicFiber® Premium Microfiber Cleaning Cloths - (Amazon)
Air blasters are pretty handy, it's always better to clean your lens and sensor with air when you can. Touching them is always risky. I have the medium size as it gives me more thrust than the small. But if you have a small camera bag, the smaller size might be better for you.
Rocket Air Small - (Amazon)
Rocket Air Medium - (Amazon)
This is a portable instant printer that prints on instant film. It also syncs to your camera. It's pretty awesome for making retro prints on the fly.
Instax Portable Printer - (Amazon)
I just picked this up. I really like it and my friend recommended it to me. The Mover 20 allows me to fit both my Sony A7r and my Fuji X100T in the same bag. It has a zipper to keep everything secure but when you pull your camera out the top flap automatically shuts with a magnet connector to give you a little bit of security.
The Mover 10 will still be big enough for an X-E2 and a lens or two. My buddy is able to fit his FujiX100s and X100T in a single Mover 10. It's tight but it works.

Fuji X-E2 Accessories Conclusion
Here is what some of these accessories looks like on my FujiX100T.
The Fuji X-E1 and X-E2 really are great cameras. And with a few added accessories they can be customized to your style which I think is really cool. I feel like the Fuji is the only camera out there you can really personalize and I love mine. Also ordering your X-E2 gear from this links earns me a small percentage. It allows me to buy worthless stuff to test out so that I can filter out the crap and link you only the good stuff.
Have fun shooting! And feel free to share with me your work. I might start doing a weekly inspiration page from readers.
