Kyoto, Food And The Byodo-In Temple
I think we’ve all probably walked more miles than Jesus by now. And I’ve even dropped my camera, twice.
The good news. I wouldn’t worry about your Sony A7r breaking if dropped from waist-high. The camera is a bit more rugged than I expected. However, my little flip screen doesn’t fold down flush anymore. I think it was like that before I dropped it though.
Byodo-In Temple
This temple has just reopened. It was closed down for a while for remodeling or something. Pretty awesome. I’m very excited I got to see it.Â

Amazing Kyoto Food
Sorry Fukuoka, but I think I had some ramen better than the Fukuoka ramen. We ate the Kyoto ramen. It’s thick and heavy like the Fukuoka Ramen but with a sweet sake kick to it.

Octopus An A Stick
I haven’t tried this yet but I love Octopus.
Kyoto Street Photography
We walked through this old part of Kyoto. Not sure of the name but it was very cool. So Japan.

Aosagi – Blue Heron
A Blue Heron, known as Aosagi in Japanese decided to grace us today. Saw a few so far. They are supposedly rare.
Day #6 is all about food in Osaka. It’s a very cool city. It seems more old school than the rest of Japan, from what I’ve experienced so far.Â
