Fujifilm has announced a new firmware 4.0 for the Fuji X-T1. It will have several new improvements to the autofocus system such as Zone and Wide/Tracking modes.
Available in June.
A List Of General Improvements
Improved focus speed and accuracy.
Expanding the range of the T settings to cover all shutter speeds.
Removing the Macro Button
Option to display finer gridlines
Replacing the term “Silent Mode” with something that is more accurate – I complained about the naming of this term on my Fujifilm X100T review and it seemed to confuse a lot of people from emails and comments I’ve gotten. It should be named something more like “Stealth Mode,” since it also disables any flash or light.
It’s been over a year since Fujifilm has gave birth to this camera and it continues to get better and better.
