Probably the most asked question when I get back from Japan is, "Did you eat a lot of sushi?" And my answer is always, "no." In America, Sushi is super popular, but the sushi we are use to eating, California Rolls, Caterpillar Rolls, Dragons Rolls pretty much are non existent in Japan. Out there the sushi is a lot more traditional. Just fish with rice. And when we're not eating fish, we are eating ramen or some form of noodles, hamburgers, sea food pizza, raw squid that still moves, yakitori (chicken skewers), okonomiyaki (which is like a sea food pancake), motsunabe (It's like a pot soup cow gut thing). And that's just a small list. I'll try to gather some of my pictures of all this stuff I eat in Japan for future posts.
