Portrait photography is probably one of my favorite forms of photography. I like images that capture unique moments of time and character and a form of expression that exists nowhere else in the world. Landscape photography is nice, but there are so many nearly identical images of the Grand Canyon or Golden Gate Bridge, it becomes difficult to get that one image that is truly one of a kind. And yes, I am guilty of taking countless landscape photos. Don't get me wrong, there are a lot of guys at there that are able to create a view of the world completely different from anything anyones has ever seen.
Here is a portrait I took of a fellow work mate Thom Stitt who was sitting along side me in my dark and mysterious edit bay. Only lit by the illumination of his 13'' netbook computer screen as he had deep meditative thoughts of life and the endless space of mystery.
