I don't often post rumors or speculations unless something really excites me. Like the Canon 12-24mm lens. Can't wait for that. But now there is this.
Sigma 24mm f1.4 ART lens coming in September. So says SAR.
I've been looking to update my lens line up with primes. Mainly I want a new 14mm, 21mm or 24mm.
If this rumored Sigma 24mm Art lens is anything like their 50mm ART lens (shown below) which is almost just as good as the Zeiss Otus at half the cost, then this 24mm prime is going to be amazing for landscape photography at hopefully half the cost of the Zeiss 21mm Distagon.
Now they just need to make a 14mm to compete with the Zeiss 15mm Distagon and I'll be set.
My Samyang 14mm has seen better days and is ready for an update.
