I thought this video was really well done and was very educational. As an editor aspect ratio is something we had to deal with frequently, 4×3 vs 16×9, 1.777, 2.35, etc. Currently I'm having to edit something that was shot on the Alexa with Panavision lenses so the final aspect ratio is 2.35. It's kind of a hassle but looks so cool. Today our LCD TVs are 16:9 so the final image will have a huge letterbox on it. (black bars at the top and bottom) So much math, glad our D.P. is good at this stuff.
