Viltrox has just released their highly anticipated and already popular 23mm f1.4 lens for the Sony APS-C E-Mount system.
This lens is fully electronic with autofocus and an electronically controlled aperture.
The autofocus motor is a stepping motor with an internal focusing element so there is no change in length while focusing.
The stepping motor also has a full-time manual override.
It uses 11 elements in 10 groups with EED and 2 High Refractive elements.

I’ve added this lens to the growing lists.
As a quick note, sometimes these High Refractive elements can be made from polymers, like what your reading glasses are made from and they can be a little bit more prone to scratching. I don’t know exactly what Viltrox is doing here but you may want to use a UV filter on this lens if you’re not using a hood to make sure you don’t scratch that front element.
