The 7Artisans 25mm f1.8 is a small and fast lens designed and manufactured in China for mirrorless cameras. It's built with an all-metal lens barrel with poor quality control and construction. Optically the lens is tuned for a somewhat old school, retro image quality where corner and edge sharpness is sacrificed at the cost of microcontrast and color. All around this little lens is kind of a mess and I'm struggling to decide if it's even worth it.

All around the Fujifilm 16mm f1.4 is a phenomenal lens with very few negative characteristics other than maybe its size and weight. I chalk it up as one of the best Fujifilm lenses in terms of overall design and tuning of characteristics and probably the best ultra wide prime ever made.

The Fujinon 60mm f2.4 is a short telephoto macro lens for the Fujifilm X-Mount APS-C mirrorless camera system. This lens features a fast f2.4 aperture with 9 aperture blades and an equivalent field of view of 90mm, making it great for portrait photography as well as product photography . The excellent corner to corner sharpness also means landscape photographers will find great use for it as well. I consider the Fujifilm 60mm a short telephoto jack-of-all-trades lens, because it can do just about anything with no serious negative characteristics.

It's designed to be a very inexpensive specialty lens with extremely shallow depth of field with buttery smooth bokeh. This is achieved by a f1.1 aperture with 12 circular aperture blades. Its simple design with a low element count makes this lens shoot and behave more like a retro lens with extreme characteristics.

The Fujifilm 35mm f2 R WR lens is one of those lenses that you can just fall in love with almost immediately. It's small, fairly inexpensive and produces some really nice image quality. But more than that, it's got character. Although the Fujinon 35mm f2 is by no means perfect, the lens is priced in such a way that many of its flaws can be forgiven. It's also incredibly durable, making this lens my first choice for anyone looking to jump into some primes.
