    This is another one from Monument Valley. I’m kind of tempted to go back there this winter. I’m not sure if that’s a good idea, though. There have been a lot of storms this month already. I don’t want to get stranded without four-wheel drive in a Utah snowstorm.

    Finally getting some time to go back through my photos. I haven’t posted much from Monument Valley, and I really think this is one of the more spectacular places I’ve been to in a while. The place almost seems fake or unnatural. I’ve also been playing around a little with the VSCO presets.

    This was my first attempt at making a Milk Way landscape shot. I know there are several formulas but the elements are always changing and you just have to keep trying different settings until you look good. I ended up with a 30-second shutter at an f2.8 with ISO 3200 and a bit of Photoshop.…
