This was taken at the Mesquite Dunes in Death Valley.
This is one of those: frame the camera, set the timer, and run. It was a lot of back-and-forth to get it just right, but I had fun. It’s now one of my favorite photos of my wife and me. It was all her idea, too.
It’s such an amazing and epic place. I’m glad we did a photo here.
