This photo of the double rainbow was taken in Miyajima, Japan. It was one of those amazing lucky shots where the Photography Gods were with me. This shrine was built around 400 years ago in the water because the people believed the Island itself was a God. After seeing this double rainbow connect the island to the shrine, I might just believe it.
This photo was post-processed in Lightroom and Color Efex Pro with some final touches in Photoshop. Nothing has been altered or added except color and the removal of a small branch in the foreground. It really looked like this. It was amazing. Too bad it was crazy windy and cold or the day would have been perfect.
