Expert Shield Screen Protector Sony A6600

Expert Shield has a few different styles of screen protectors, the Crystal Clear, the Glass, and the Anti-Glare. Crystal Clear is a simple thin screen protector that offers some basic ding protection and scratch resistance. Glass is a thicker protector, it has a ridged surface and won’t peel off as easily. It also will protect the screen even more from dings and scratches. The Anti-glare screen protector reduces the reflections which can be useful when shooting outside or in bright conditions. It will reduce the quality of the LCD though.

Best Batteries Sony A6600

The Sony A6600 uses the bigger FZ100 batteries.

You will need to be a little careful about buying third-party batteries with the FZ100 since Sony firmware doesn’t like the older third-party batteries in this model.

MegaGear Ever Ready Genuine Leather Case

If you want a nice leather half case the Gariz cases are nice. I’ve owned a few of these for different cameras and I’ve always liked the way they fit and the extra grip they add.

These cases also have an aluminum base plate which is nice for mounting a tripod plate too.

SmallRig ColdShoe Adapter

SmallRig has a few options for cold shoe adapters for the A6600. You can get a setup that allows you to mount two cold shoe devices or just one on the left or one on the right. The choice is yours. These are great if you want to mount a mic or something off to the side.

SmallRig has released a new cage for the A6600. These are the best cages and are worth the price. SmallRig also makes other accessories for their cages, like extra handles and grips, so keep an eye out for those if you want to expand your cage. These cages are Amazing.

Think Tank Mirrorless Mover

The Think Tank Mirrorless Mover bags come in serval sizes. I own the 5, the 10, and the 20. You could fit just the body of the A6600 in the 5 but it’s better to use it on compacts or for lenses. The 10 and 20 are more what you want for the A6600. Check the dimensions of your kit with your lens to see what will work for you but these are great. I’m just literally always using one of these bags for everything even with my other bags so I’ve found them to be incredibly useful.

I love the Luigi Deluxe leather strap. It’s the best there is and mine has held up for years. It’s worth the money. The site is a little chaotic but they are 100% legit. I’ve ordered from them and I love my Deluxe Strap. It’s the best strap I’ve ever owned.

Tap&Dye is probably the best American leather camera strap company. They use the best American leather, top grain, and full-grain and they even use the legendary Horween leather on some of their straps they even have some Chromexcel products. Some of the Raw leather straps start very hard and stiff but they break in over time and form a cool patina as they age. I also highly recommend these.

Gordy’s Camera Straps

If you’re looking for little leather wrist straps Gordy makes some cool designs. I’ve used his wrist straps for years and they’ve held up better than my other cheap leather wrist straps. They also make some interesting full straps.

Peak Design Clutch

The Peak Design Clutch is a hand strap that mounts to a slim arca-swiss base plate so your camera is always ready to go on a tripod. You can also connect the Peak Design ties to this so you can attach a full strap directly to the hand strap. It’s a cool setup and it’s what I use most of the time.

Peak Design makes a few cool Slide straps. For a smaller camera, you can probably get a slimmer size, but I’ve listed the medium size which is what I use for my bigger full-frame mirrorless cameras.

These straps are great because they are so easy to take on and off of your camera and the slide system makes it super easy to adjust the size.

This is the most convenient strap out there.

Peak Design Cuff

Another Strap I use regularly is the Peak Design Cuff. I use it on my smaller cameras and it’s great for the A6600. I used it primarily when I rent these or when I owned my A6300. These are fully compatible with the peak design lock system so if you go all peak design it’s really easy to change out your strap configuration. I love it.

Rocket Air Blaster

These are must-have air blasters. You can buy any air blaster of course and they will get the job done. I just like these Rocket Air blasters because you can set them upright and you don’t have to worry about them rolling away. I’ve owned at least four of these over the years and always keep in in my bag if I know I’m going to be changing lenses.

Micro-Fiber Cleaning Cloths 6-Pack

You can clean your lenses and cameras out in the field with a T-shirt. I do it all the time. However, when you need to give your lens, UV filter or ND filter a good cleaning you will need something like a microfiber cloth. Nothing will pull off lint, dirt and oil better than microfiber. Here is a great six-pack.

Sensor Brush

If you’re trying to get the dust off your sensor, you don’t need to go the full wet cleaning method everyone is talking about. 90% of the time all you need is a sensor brush. Unless you have oil or fingerprints on your sensor, this will work.

Make sure you never touch the tip of the brush and keep it in its packaging when not in use.
