This was my last adventure, during which I shot exclusively with the Canon 5Dmkii. It was taken last November while on the Canadian side of Niagara Falls.
One of the coolest things I immediately noticed when I started taking up photography is how many people you end up meeting. It just happens as you stand there waiting for the perfect time of day, and you end up befriending other photographers or travelers from other countries who are just curious and excited. I met this interesting Australian while waiting for the Niagara Falls lights to come on and talk to him for a long time.
Nobody around me was from Canada or the US; it was mostly Australia, Asia, or Europe. I still managed to have my Verizon signal since I was so close to the US border to have an Internet signal on my phone. I was able to look up when the light show started and was an information giver in the area.
Speaking of the Internet on my phone, I always think how crazy and easy it is to travel through the US. Our photos all have GPS, which speaks to us and tells us almost exactly where to go. The sad part is I still get lost. I’m just glad we don’t have to use Thomas Guides anymore. That was rough.
