Also known as the Horseshoe Bend. It’s located just south of Page Arizona near the border of Utah. This is the start of the Colorado River out of Lake Powell. The area is known as the Glen Canyon. Hanging this photo on your wall could also bring you good luck. 🙂 One of the magical characteristics of horseshoes hung on walls is they hold in the good luck. They have to be facing upward though. Often times people turn them upside down and all the luck pours out.
This photo is technically an HDR although I did the blending by hand in Photoshop using luminosity masks. I think it creates a much cleaner image, and I’ve been using Photomatix less and less these days.
