Best Screen Protector For The Canon T7i / T6i and T6s
Patchwork ITG also makes a great screen protector if you’re looking for something that’s made of a hard glass. ExpertShield sometimes carries hard glass but I get a lot of people telling me they love their Patchwork so I’ve decided to start including them. Wasabi (2-Pack) w/charger Wasabi makes a great third-party battery. I haven’t had any issues with their batteries lately and they are a great option for a second and third battery. The kit comes with a charger with several charging accessories.  – Amazon |
Canon LC-E17 Battery Charger The official Canon LC-E17 battery charger for LP-E17 batteries. I’ve found the official chargers are the most reliable in giving the batteries good stable charges. I’ve had issues with third-party battery chargers in the past so it’s never a bad idea to have an official charger lying around. – Amazon |

Sometimes third-party chargers do not charge the batteries properly and can cause battery performance to deteriorate over time.- Amazon |
Best Memory Cards For The Canon T7i, T6i, T6s and T6
Memory cards perform slightly different depending on the camera. The Canon T7i has an all new processor and has overall much better performance. All these cameras still only use the UHS-I memory card interface and there will be no reason to buy UHS-II memory cards. These are the top three best performers between each of these cameras, but it varies between cameras. Canon T7i, T6i, T6s, T6 Camera Straps
I just ordered a bunch of new straps that I’ll be reviewing in the coming months so this section will see a significant update.
Factory Made Straps
Handmade leathers straps are usually a bit expensive. So if you’re looking for just a strap that’s better than what comes with the camera I’ve found a few I like. Custom SLR makes some really nice stuff now and they even offer a leather strap. Their straps are also cool because they can connect to the bottom of your camera with a C-Loop that also allows you to take the strap on and off quickly.
Custom SLR Slim Strap – Amazon You’ll need to buy a C-Loop Mini to go with this.

BlackRapid Camera Straps – Amazon Similar to CSLR, BlackRapid makes a bottom-mounting strap that’s pretty cool.
Canon T7i, T6i, T6s, T6 Camera Flashes
While Canon makes some really cool Speedlites, there are a few much better options out there that work just as good.
I’ll list the Canon Speedlites and I’ve had the 580EX II for years with no complaints, but recently I started using the Goddox and I am very happy with the price and quality of the light.
Godox TT685C The Godox TT685C is a TTL flash that is without a doubt the best bang for the buck Speedlite for Fujifilm. This is also the only unit that has +- 5-stop of exposure comp with HSS. Build quality is good, but the instruction manual sucks. The only problem I’ve experienced with this flash is it’s a little difficult to press into the hot shoe of the camera. |

Canon Speedlites
I’ll list the Canon Speedlite just because I know a lot of people want to have the real thing. But if you’re just starting out the Godox system above is absolutely fantastic and will get the job done.

Cleaning Supplies
You can never have too many cleaning cloths. These get dirty and stop working well on lenses, so it’s nice to always have a fresh backup.

Best Accessories For The Canon T7i, T6i, T6s, T6 Conclusions
There are a lot of great accessories, some by Canon some third-party. Canon often prices their accessories a little high but it’s usually worth it. A lot of the third-party accessories are hit and miss but every once in a while something good shows up, like remote camera triggers and camera flashes. I’ll continue to keep an eye out for the good stuff and filter out the junk.
