This is of Yumiko (my wife) in the Mesquite Sand Dunes of Death Valley. We just returned Monday night, and I’ve finally started processing some of the photos. It’s a pretty awesome place. Some of the photos I got here are my favorite ones so far. This time of year seems good to go since it’s not too hot. It was hot in the mid to upper 80s but nothing extreme like summer. We were a little bummed that the flowers weren’t blooming very well this year. Maybe next time.
The Mesquite Sand Dunes seen in this photo is where many Star Wars were filmed. Some of the first ones were R2D2 and C3PO were lost, and some of Return of the Jedi. I couldn’t stop thinking about the sand monster that Bobofett fell into in Return of the Jedi. I forget what it’s called. I always thought it was amazing that a blind Han Solo killed Bobo Fett. Either Han Solo is truly that awesome, or Bobo Fett sucks. I Haven’t decided which one to go with.
