The AngelBird v60 card is a mid-range UHS-II card that is great for any video bitrate up to 480Mbps but also runs with fast UHS-II read speeds for fast transfer speeds, as well as decently fast write speeds for fast buffer clearing.
There have been a few versions of this card, the latest versions with an increase in speed are labeled as Mk II.
AngelBird V60 UHS-II Review
For this review, we’ve benchmarked the original Mk I cards and will get to the Mk II cards soon.
When testing the 64GB size, USB-C read speeds came in at 166.9MB/s which is a little slow for a UHS-II card, but actually very similar to ProGrade cards. This is likely why the card has been updated. Write speeds came in at speeds similar to other v60 cards and again, very similar to ProGrade v60 cards. I would assume they source these cards from the same manufacturer. Possibly Micron considering the history associated with Micron and Prograde.
Memory Card Benchmarks | USB-C Read | USB-C Write |
AngelBird V60 MK I | 166.9 MB/s | 104.5 MB/s |
