A massive list of all the best and most essential accessories for the very customizable Fujifilm X-Pro3.
I don’t have my X-Pro3 yet, but I will share all the cool accessories from my experience with the X-Pro2 that also work on the X-Pro3 and there are some really good ones.
Best Accessories Fujifilm X-Pro 3 | The Essentials
Best Screen Protector Fuji X-Pro3
There are a million brands of screen protectors out there today but still, my favorite is by ExpertShield. They give you a lifetime warranty but also their screens come in a few different styles so you can pick and choose what you need.
Expert Shield Screen Protector
Expert Shield screen protectors come in three styles, Crystal Clear, Glass, and Anti-Glare. Crystal Clear is a thin screen protector that offers basic protection. Glass is much thicker and does a better job of protecting the screen from dings and scratches. Anti-Glare eliminates most reflections but will reduce the display quality a little. Do you need a screen protector for the X-Pro3? Maybe not, but at least a Crystal Clear Protector might still be a good idea. If you have a problem with these, just contact Expert Shield and they will send you replacements. |
Best Batteries Fujifilm X-Pro 3
You will need multiple batteries for the X-Pro3. If you plan on shooting all day you’ll likely need two or three depending on how good you are about turning off your camera between shots. I’m mostly using official Fujifilm batteries since I shoot a lot with the X-T3 and the vertical grip, but third-party batteries have never given me any issues in my X-Pro2.
Official Fujifilm Batteries NP-W126S
These are the official batteries by Fujifilm. They did change these batteries up a few years ago in favor of a better discharge profile, so you will probably get better performance and less heat out of these new batteries compared to the older ones. |
Best Third-Party Batteries Wasabi
These are the latest Wasabi NP-W126S batteries for the Fujifilm system. Wasabi is one of the best brands of third-party batteries for Fujifilm. I’ve used them for years and their batteries have always been reliable. They also are very affordable but this doesn’t come with a charger, you can buy one separate, but for best results use the Fujifilm official charger that comes with your camera. I usually charge my batteries in my X-T3 vertical grip. If you have one, it makes a great dual battery charger. |
Best Memory Cards Fujifilm X-Pro3
I haven’t tested the memory cards in the X-Pro3 yet, but the camera is very similar to the X-T3, so you can use that guide to finding the memory cards.

Fujifilm X-Pro 3 Cases & Grips
There are a lot of cool ways to really customize the X-Pro3 to make it your own. I’ll list all the best grips and cases out there. Starting with some extra grip accessories.
Fujifilm X-Pro 3 Grips
Lensmate Thumb Grip
This is a must-have item. Lensmate makes the absolute best thumb rest and I would hate not having one. This is just essential and I use their thumbrest on all my range finder style cameras even my X-T3. These are very high quality and designed so the thumb rest, rests on the camera body so as to not put all the pressure on the hotshoe mount which can torque it. |
Lensmate Soft Shutter Release
I still love the Lensmate soft shutters the most. I’ve tried several brands and they all always just fall off. Lensmate adds a little rubber washer to their soft shutters that keep them from vibrating loose. Of the years I’ve been using these on all my different Fujifilm cameras I’ve only lost one. So just make sure you check that they are always tight. They have a bunch of different designs with different colors so I linked you to their main search page. So make sure you get the Lensmate soft shutter and not some ghetto brand.

Other brands have finally caught on to the superior design of the Lensmate soft shutter releases and have started to include the rubber washer that keeps it from vibrating loose.
QiangNi Soft Shutter
With this Soft Shutter, you get a 2-pack and they are still cheaper than the Lensmate soft shutters. The design is simple and clean. These are likely now mass-produced out of China and you can find them under several different company names. |
Foto&Tech Soft Shutter
Even Foto&Tech has started including the rubber washer on their soft shutters. These work well enough for the price and they offer a lot of simple designs to choose from. So you can experiment to see if you like the concave or convex design. It’s a very different feel. |
VKO Wood Soft Shutter
VKO has a few nice designs for their soft shutters in wood. You can mix and match these with your other accessories to really stylize your camera. They have two styles available as concave or convex in several different colors. These also include the rubber washer. |
Fujifilm X-Pro 3 Cases
There are a few great options for leather cases and half cases for the Fujifilm X-Pro 3. Here are the cases I’ve used on my various cameras that I can recommend.
Gariz X-Pro 3 Leather Half Case
Gariz has a pretty genuine leather half-case for the X-Pro 3. I personally use the Kaza-Deluxe cases on my X-Pro 2 camera but I have used the Gariz cases on my X100 bodies before and they are really nice. The advantage you get with this case is the aluminum bottom. It extends the grip a little and gives the camera a more ridged base for nice support when on a tripod. |
Kaza-Deluxe Leather Case X-Pro3
The cases I’ve been using lately are from Kaza Deluxe. They have the best for the price and have more of a handmade feel to them and they use much better materials. You can get these bundled with a strap as well. I highly recommend these. |
Fujifilm Metal Grip
This is the official metal grip for the Fujifilm X-Pro 3. I had one for my X-Pro 2. It’s really nice but it does add a lot of weight to the camera. So just know that going into it. |
Fujifilm X-Pro 3 Cleaning Essentials
Cleaning accessories are must-have items that every photographer should not overlook. Here are a few cleaning accessories that are absolute must-have items.
But if you really want to nerd out on cleaning gear, check out this guide to camera cleaning accessories.
Rocket Air Blaster
There are a lot of different styles of air blasters but I’ve been using Rocket Air. I like the fins on the back that allow you to stand the blaster upright. I think for APS-C mirrorless cameras the Medium size is the best. But the small ones are too if you like to carry one in your bag. |
Micro-Fiber Cleaning Cloths 6-Pack
Microfiber cleaning cloths really are the best way to clean off your camera and lenses. I find my T-shirt works fine for wipe off my lenses, UV filters or LCD screen when out and about, but every so I like to give my gear a good cleaning and the only way to do that effectively is with micro-fiber. Here is a cool six-pack. |
Sensor Brush
A lot of people will scare you with the dangers of cleaning your sensor and recommend terrible products. Really you don’t need much to clean your sensor, and as long as you haven’t touched it or gotten oil on it, a sensor brush is all you ever need to get annoying dust or debris off. Keep these sensor brushes in their bag and blast them a few times with the rocket air above before applying them to your sensor. They work so well. Don’t mess with the wet method or those sticky gels sticks. |
