Elephant Seals – X100T

While driving home from San Francisco a few weeks ago, my wife and I stopped by that spot the elephant seals like hang out just outside of Big Sur. These things were everywhere,  spread out miles in each direction. I guess that’s good since they were very endangered at one point, which I totally understand. These are probably the ugliest seals I’ve ever seen.

For my camera, I had with me the X100T that I put on a tripod. The sunset was give the scene a very nice calming color and the Velvia profile made it even nicer.

The technique I used to process these was the same I used here. Although if I were to redo these I  would probably use Iridient to start since it is so much nicer for Fuji RAW files.
