This is a photo I took back in 2012. I never got around to processing it, but I’m glad I waited because my Photoshop abilities have improved dramatically since then. This photo is made up of two separate exposures. Without two, the skies would have been blown out.
One downside to shooting in southern California is that we never get really interesting or dramatic sunsets, especially in the summer, when this photo was taken. Winters are great, but it gets dark at 5. I’m going to try to shoot a lot this winter. See what sort of stormy conditions Southern California can brew up!
