This was my first time in Antelope Canyon. I’ve been to the area a few times before but never realized these canyons were just right there. This was taken in the Lower Antelope Canyons, which is more known for its diversity of colors. When the sun breaks through the rocks the walls glow a range of colors from oranges to almost purples.
The location is pretty breathtaking. Because it’s a relatively tough hike at a high altitude, it looks pretty cool. But it’s dusty. If you go there, be sure to protect your equipment. I know the Canon 16-35mm f2.8 lens needs a UV filter on the front, or else you’re inviting dust into that lens, which, unfortunately, has happened to me over the last year.
