Paring the best accessories with the Fujifilm X-T5 can really personalize your photography experience and the actual camera itself. From lens filters to camera straps, the right accessory can make a big difference in the quality of your shots and overall satisfaction with the camera.
Here are some of the best accessories for the Fujifilm X-T5.
Fujifilm X-T5 – Amazon / Adorama / B&H
1. Screen Protector
ULBTER X-T5 Screen Protector – 3 Pack 0.3mm 9H Hardness
The ULBTER X-T5 Screen Protector 3 Pack is a great option for photographers looking for a screen protector for their X-T5. This pack includes three pieces of 0.3mm thick 9H hardness tempered glass, a cold shoe bubble level, and a soft shutter release. The glass is rated as 9H hardness, which I use on most cameras. It comes with two extra screen protectors, which are useful since these screen protectors can chip and crack over time.
The 9H screen protectors can be a little difficult to remove. I usually use a hair dryer to apply light heat before trying to replace them.
2. Batteries
The Fujifilm X-T5 uses the FUJIFILM NP-W235 Lithium-Ion Battery battery.
Official Fujifilm NP-W235 Battery
The official Fujifilm NP-W235 Battery is the approved Li-ion battery that offers up to 2200 mAh at 16 Wh with 7.2V of power. It’s nice to have one or two official batteries for serious shooters. When shooting photography, I typically don’t use more than one battery daily unless I’m shooting in very cold conditions. I keep one official battery and a few third-party backups for most cameras. However, if I were shooting video professionally, I would primarily use official batteries for the peace of mind of knowing no firmware update or any other random issues would disable my batteries, as we see sometimes happen with some third-party batteries for some camera brands.
- Battery Capacity: 2200 mAh / 16 Wh
- Output: 7.2 VDC
3. Memory Cards
Finding the perfect memory cards to complement your Fujifilm X-T5 really depends on your use case. Use his guide to help you find exactly what you need.

4. Grips / Cases
Using a camera case or grip on the Fujifilm X-T5 enhances its overall handling and protection. Camera cases offer a snug fit for the X-T5, protecting it from scratches and impacts. Camera grips provide a larger and more comfortable grip for holding the camera, which is particularly useful for shooting in challenging conditions or with larger lenses.
All my cameras have some form of a grip, cage, or protective half-case.
FUJIFILM MHG-XT5 Metal Hand Grip
Photographers looking for extra support can find it with the MHG-XT5 Metal Hand Grip. This grip is specifically designed for the XT-5 Mirrorless Camera and provides users with improved handling and control. Crafted from aluminum alloy, this ergonomic grip seamlessly follows the curves of your camera and gives additional clearance at the bottom, so you can use large lenses without compromising stability when mounted to a tripod.
5. Mist Filters
Over time, I have come to love diffusion filters, which can significantly enhance cityscape photography at night and impart a cinematic feel to both video and still imagery.
My top two recommended brands are Cinebloom and Tiffen. These filters are uncoated and introduce extra reflections that lend a distinctive luminance. Tiffen utilizes a nanoparticle configuration that I find the most appealing of all filter options for light halation.
For those not yet willing to invest in these higher-end filters, K&F Concept offers a more economical alternative. Nisi and a Japanese brand known as Kenko/Hoya also make diffusion filters that perform very similarly.
You can also check out this comparison between diffusion filters.
Moment CineBloom Diffusion Filter
Moment Cinebloom diffusion filters are a type of mist filter used in photography and videography. They are uncoated and designed to introduce extra reflections, adding to a scene’s overall glow. They are favored for imparting a cinematic quality to footage. I recommend starting with the 10% power for general shooting, night photography, and videography.
See my full Moment Cinebloom filter review.
Tiffen Black Pro Mist Filter
Tiffen Black Pro-Mist filter is a camera filter used in photography and videography. A coated filter utilizes a nanoparticle configuration to achieve a distinctive diffusion effect. The black Pro-Mist filter softens highlights and reduces contrast, creating a more cinematic look. It is ideal for low-light and backlit situations, where it can create a pleasing halo effect.
I recommend starting with 1/4 power for general shooting and night cityscapes and 1/8 for a milder effect.

This link goes to the 82mm filter. Be sure to double-check and order it according to the size you use the most.
I haven’t posted a review or comparison yet, but I’m also using the K&F Shimmerglass 1 filter a lot right now for the multi-coating, which is great for city night photography.
6 Straps
Using camera straps with the Fujifilm X-T5 makes photography more comfortable and convenient. There are plenty of styles and materials to choose from, like rich leather or fabric, so you can personalize your camera to match your style.
Here are some of the best straps for the Fujifilm X-T5.
Wrist Straps
Gordy’s Camera Straps
Gordy’s has a great selection of high-quality leather wrist straps that are super strong and durable. These handcrafted straps feel sturdy and really showcase their excellent craftsmanship. Unlike flimsy, factory-made straps, Gordy’s straps are built to last and will reliably support your camera for years.
Hard Graft Slide Camera Wrist Strap
The Hard Graft Slide wrist strap is a top-notch, well-made option. I think it’s one of the best wrist straps out there, and it looks great too. I even wrote a small review on it.
The only downside is that it can get tight around your wrist since the slide has no resistance. Despite that, it’s the strap I often use with my camera.
Full Straps Synthetic
Peak Design straps offer many great options for the Fujifilm mirrorless system. I often use the Clutch hand strap with an additional strap attached.
Peak Design Slide Lite
The Peak Design Camera Slide Strap is a great option for those who want to keep their camera secure while also being able to attach and detach it quickly.
I like the Slide Lite Strap or the Leash Strap.

- Aluminum-alloy Adjuster

Full Leather Strap
I found some stylish leather straps that look great with the Fuji X-T5. They’re a bit pricey, but since they’re made from genuine leather, they’re durable and can last a long time with proper care.
Luigi’s deluxe straps are top-notch. The website might look old-school, but photographers highly recommend these straps. You can easily find them with a quick Google search or possibly on eBay.
Luigi’s Straps by Luigicase
Luigi’s deluxe straps offer exceptional quality in camera accessories. Despite having a primitive website, the straps are highly recommended by photographers. They can be easily found through a Google search and potentially on eBay.
- Soft Italian Leather, extremely high quality

Tap&Dye
The accessories and straps from Tap & Dye are great. Their straps are elegantly understated and feature exceptional quality. They offer several styles crafted from various leather materials. It’s worth noting that some of these straps made from the veg-tanned full grain or top grain may initially feel stiff but will eventually soften with use. Overall, they are a solid choice for camera straps.
- Full Grain or Chromexcel Leather
- Handmade
- Made in USA
HardGraft
HardGraft makes some nice, outstanding-quality straps. I’ve been using the Re-Process strap for years with my Fujifilm X-Pro2 and love it. They have many options now and are worth considering.
- Made of Italian and European Materials
- Italian, German, and British Wools

Rope Camera Straps
Vi Vante Luxury Sheetline Rope Strap
The only rope strap I’ve used is the Vi Vante Luxury Sheetline Rope. It’s fairly long at 47″ and can’t be ordered in different sizes, but it’s a pretty nice strap if you’re tall or like cross-carry. I use it exclusively on my Leica M11. There are other options out there that many of my friends use; I just don’t have much experience with them.
